    Good question..
The MX32's strut will fit, the RA's steering arm, & will give a 1 deg. increase... The Hilux 4 spot, will also fit.. So the Peugot rotor, should also fit.. But you need to use an RA40's front springs, with a MX32's cartridge retainer nut... as the MX strut has a corser thread than the RA's strut..
The use of the XT130 strut, & RA40's steering arm, would give a much larger increase, in camber, as the arm, has a larger offset, than the RA60's.. so ajustable top's may be needed to bring the camber back...

I have some angle's of struts in this thread..
    Hilux/Peugot/Strut angles.. Questions & theory

I dont quite understand how to read your graff could you explain..

So in my case ive got a RT142 corona.. If i use the MX32 strut with my RT streering arm with the 4 pot brakes or this brake upgrade can i use my RT142 shock incert and springs? Ive already got good aftermarket bilsiens shocks and king springs which i dont want to loose...

    Thanks,

    Chris.

As i understand it, the RA60 & RT142, have the same struts...
The Aus, spec, Celica's had "GT" spec, brake's... (vented disc.)
The Aus, 142, Corrona's had the standard, Celica's brakes.. (solid disc.)
The MX32's strut uses RA40 type of spring & RA60's spring will not fit..
Cheep up grade for an RT142 would be from a RA60.. Plug & play..

As for my table.. "stock" is the angle betwwen the strut tube & the rear rotor face...
eg. RA60 = 9 deg. thus the angle from tube to axle for a RA60 = 99 deg..
    & MX32 = 98 deg.
So MX32 strut, on a RA60, will give you, an incease, of -1 deg. camber...

I just slotted this setup into my Sprinter. A few slight changes, but it went in fine and seems to work. The camber looks to be unchanged ( I had about -1deg previously and by eye it now looks the same). Fitted my existing AE86 steering arms too.

    Parts I use were:
    - XT130 strut
    - RA60 hub and disc
    - MX62 caliper
    - AE86 upper spring perch
    - KE70 strut top (well AE71 in fact, but they are the same)
    - Custom spring to suit XT130 lower and E7 upper perch
    - AE86 shocks
    - Had to reuse my existing AE86 brake line to make things fit nicely

    Seem gold so far.

good work hen, would be better in my opinion if you fitted the xt130 arm also

the mx62 isnt the best caliper out there, its more of the fact that this is just the simplest most cost effective vented disc brake upgrade you can do

but i feel the mx62 is better than the twin piston sumitomo for a few reasons

    mx62 has more pad area
mx62 is more available to buy in different compounds
sumitomo has to be spaced out to fit a vented disc (costs would put you to the point of buying some hilix/landcruiser 4 piston calipers)

I already had XT130 arms in there. Hence the slight negative camber, which to the eye remained unchanged after fitting this.

So does this setup fit the TA22? I just scoured the whole thread and didnt find any mention of it apart from shelldrake who was doing a similar setup. I'm assuming I need to have the TA22 perches welded to the XT130 struts, and use the TA22 upper spring hat + strut tops and use the TA22 springs. Do the XT130 and RA struts use the same shock? (I made up a spacer for my RA shocks in my TA22 to allow me to use the TA22 shocks, so would be great if I could carry them over). Apart from that, does anyone know whether this upgrade would be sufficient for getting my 4AGE swap engineered?

    Cheers, Matt

    Yes...

This is what Max (ta22max) has on his '22, and this is what Ed (shelldrake) is in the process of (as we speak) putting on his '22...

Alright I went down to the wreckers to check out all these parts, and I was able to find XT130 struts, RA65 discs (are these the same as RA60?), but no MX62 calipers. There was one MX62 there but the calipers had already been taken, are there any other cars that share the same calipers or similar ones that bolt straight on?

Pulse, depends which RA celica you are talking about. The RA40 celica shares the same strut as the XT130, but the RA23/28 have a slightly different item, which is different at the top of the insert.

I will be performing this upgrade on my RA28 when I install the 18R-GTE, and will be using new slotted rotors.
