$250 vented brake upgrade for KE30/35/55 also celica/corona

Well it's time to give it a go! This is a great thread and a great read!!

Read ALL the brake upgrade threads for a TA22, some of them twice, and because of simplicity I am going the RA60/MX62 route. I already have XT130 struts and hubs fitted and good suspension....just need the brakes.

I can get new rotors here in the UK but Cressida's were not popular over here so a wreckers is out for calipers.

I can get MX62 calipers from America but lots are listed.....could anyone PLEASE give me a "year/model" to go on....as Sedan's, Wagon's etc are listed and I want to buy the right ones.
This is the last piece of information I need to get started!

Hi guys,

My apologies for bring up an old post. I was wondering if you would be able to use the mx62 caliper with the jdm ae86 brake rotor.

The rotor is 234mm x 18mm therefore it should be able to clear the 13inch rim right? Or was the caliper the issue with fitting the rims?

Or is it that the mx62 caliper actually needs a 20mm disk to work.

The only reason I'm asking is that I would like to use vented brake rotors but also want to use 13 inch rims.
