toymods is a technical resource, with a non-car discussion area to stop cluttering of the tech and general car discussion areas.
toymods does not need a non-car discussion area at all, and if the board wished it so (by votes of toymods members) it could dissappear. same for the classified section.
I do agree and dont agree on that one...but the pros and cons of 'non-car' have been discussed/argued over many times before so I wont digress to much!
just because someone doesn't have the tech knowledge, or isn't satisfied by what other people say, does not mean they should start posting random shit they found on teh intahweb.
Very true, but people will always want to post it...I guess it part of forum 'life' and surely it is better to have it placed in one spot instead of spread across the entire forum? Yes they could go to another forum to do it but that doesnt always occur to people
basically, there is a huge range of people on the internet, and a huge range of possible links to pics or videos or sites, say.. from toymods to tubgirl or whatever.
Never had you figured as a tubgirl man....more a goatse or gonzo type

you have to draw a line somewhere. at kiddy porn? at random videos? at tech content?
aiui, the board decided that, rather than having to moderate _EVERY_ LWIFOTIO thread to make sure it fell within the LWIFOTI guidelines, they decided to not have them at all..
well, River decided to give them 24hr lock for discussion to start, and that seems to work well (ie, if it generates discussion, it stays open. if not or is not likely to, it gets locked/deleted).
i like Rivers approach, and it seems to work well so far.
Yep I like Rivers approach to...I would like to see his vew on this to...would it be easier on him to have everything in one place? Hmmm but if everything is in one thread there is less chance a decent discussion will form and stuff that might be relevant or interesting for us all will get missed..
for this you tube/videos sticky, what do you propose are the guidelines that need to be enforced by moderators for every single post?
I guess the usual forum guidelines...nothing offensive, racist, pornographic etc. I think though that toymodders are very good at keeping things clean and 'self-moderating' so maybe it wouldnt be top much of an issue.
