Step drills are definitely the go for drilling medium sized metal holes.

You can get from Jaycar too
    $19.95 - 4-12mm diam, 1mm steps http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=TD2436
    $29.95 - 12-20mm diam, 1mm steps http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=TD2438

    I used them both REGULARLY.
    ...... butt scratcher?!

aircon is an iffy one as i have no frontal room for a condensor without removing my
front grill and spacing everything front/back.

plus a 1G air con comp fouls on the castor rod mounts.

    or as an alternate hypothesis:

    1G + W2A + AC = TehWin!

Delete 1G, replace with 3S and you have the correct hypothesis

jjks, the 3s is a good thing but a 1g isnt by any means bad.
wait till next dyno day to see what i do with one (hopefully it wont blow up coz i aint shy with boost on cheap motors)
    cheers

1J is theoretical next .... dream motor is a 3S ... but costs still bring 1J in for cheaper.

500x76x300 will fit but plumbing is anal.
450-400x76x300 makes doing the plumbing alot easier.
Also do plumbing in 2" size tube, makes life much easier and unless your running a stupid monster turbo it wont restrict power.
