Background
Currently I'm using RT132 struts in my RA28 and was going to venture down the path of the tried and true Corona/Pug/Hilux brake conversion, but after feeling the weight difference between the Toyota Hilux LN106 4 piston caliper and a Nissan Z32 TT 4 piston caliper, I have decided to try a different path...
Purpose
I would like to find a disc that fits similarly to the original XT130/RT132 disc that suits either of the following alloy calipers:
Nissan Z32 NA - 26mm
Nissan Z32 TT or R32 GTS-T - 30mm
Nissan R32 GTR - 32mm
Nissan R33 GTS-T - 30mm
Current Research Findings
Original XT130/RT132 disc specifications:
266mm x 12.7mm with a total height of 42mm, a 76mm centre hole, and a 4 x 114.3 PCD (Solid)
Volvo S40/V40 disc specifications:
281mm x 24mm with a total height of 46mm, a 69mm centre hole, and a 4 x 114.3 PCD (Vented)
Nissan S13 disc specifications:
280mm x 22mm with a total height of 49mm, a 68mm centre hole, and a 4 x 114.3 PCD (Vented)
Nissan Z32 NA disc specifications:
274mm x 22mm with a total height of 35.5mm, a 81mm centre hole, and a 5 x 114.3 PCD (Vented)
Nissan Z32 TT or R32 GTS-T disc specifications:
280mm x 30mm with a total height of 54mm, a 68mm centre hole, and a 5 x 114.3 PCD (Vented)
Nissan Z33 (350Z) disc specifications:
296mm x 24mm with a total height of 49.2mm, a 68mm centre hole, and a 5 x 114.3 PCD (Vented)
Conclusion
So far it's looking as though the best combination, for ease of installation, would be the Nissan Z32 NA (26mm) caliper with a Volvo S40/V40 disc which will prevent the need to have the disc re-drilled to suit the 4 x 114.3 PCD...
The next easiest option is the Nissan Z32 NA (26mm) caliper with a Nissan Silvia S13 disc which will also prevent the need to have the disc re-drilled to suit the 4 x 114.3 PCD...
The third option is the Nissan Z32 NA (26mm) caliper with a Nissan Z33 (350Z) disc, but this setup would need to have the disc re-drilled to suit the 4 x 114.3 PCD...
Notes
Obviously, a custom bracket would need to be made to fit either of the above mentioned calipers, but I don't think this is too big a deal in most people's eyes...
