Smile Will a W40 bolt into an RA40?

Will a W40 gearbox from an RT104 Corona bolt into an RA40 Celica?

I'm pretty sure it will, since both have 18RC engines, but want to confirm the RA40 tailshaft and cross member will fit.

It's only for a dirt-cheap Motorkhana/Autocross car, so the downgrade from five speeds to four is not an issue. The car will never be used on the road again.

(Yes, I have searched, but found no definite info. Just hints that it should fit)

Yes the W40 and W50 are externally identical. I once accidentally put a W40 in my RA23 and it fit perfectly. I was pretty mad when I couldn't find 5th gear though.
