why would you want to????????
ive seen a carbied 4ag has anyone ever carbied a 1g
why would you want to????????
ive seen a carbie manifold so you can run tripple webbers for a 5m/6mge before, it was on yahoo auctions japan going for a mint...
i think it could be done, but its like what every one says... it will cost you lots of money, youll get more power out of a turbo... etc... but it would be hell cool but a pain to tune...
id like to see it done, just for the sound it would makeim sure if HKS made carbie manifolds for the 5m/6m, there would be something floating around for the 1g...
lpg carby, im running one on my 1g...

Punctuation is the difference between 'I helped my Uncle Jack off his horse' and 'I helped my uncle jack off his horse.'
I have often thought about this, If I had the spare money lying around and the right car to put it in it would be cool to do for shits and giggles, but that is about it...

Beige.... The new Black!!!
I think it sound very very nice. I also think it would be a big big waste of time and money if you were planning to do anything other than just listen to it. though with our current speeding laws thats probally not such a bad idea![]()

How's that? properly set up and with a choke im sure you wouldnt have that many problems in winter
key words there being "properly set up" = time and money...
true you can do anything, but it all comes down to time and money...

true true...
im just glad you werent bagging carbies, just for the sake of it![]()
lol... hey, i love carbies... but it's hard to deny the benefits of EFI by comparison... i have a hand in each pot... one RA28 with 18RG carby, one RA28 with 1G-GTE EFI... and it's a VERY hard task to choose a favourite...

Doesn't the 1g use an air flapper meter? I'd honesly go the carbies for the least restriction option. Also with the right cams the tripple carbs would definatly have a power advantage over the factory efi or even any custom computer using an air flapper meter (not that anyone would!)
^^ just one of the reasons i went straight gas on my 1g.

i thought the main reasion for carbie conversions as well as ITB's was improved throttle response? do carbies improve it as much at ITB's?
