Use the oil recommended by the manufacturer. There is little if any difference between brands.
Not sure is there any bro's here running turbo with auto transmission. If so, may i know what ATF oil do you guys use? All the while im using ori from toyota but im looking to try Amsoil. Any recomendation here?

Oils ain't oils
There is a difference between brands, I would rather use Motul over the cheap $10 crap.
If Redline oils make ATF i would be using this (if you can afford it) otherwise look at what Toyota recommend and use a good quality oil like Redline or Motul
If i was not wrong, Redline do have ATF but its very pricey
Amsoil make transmission fluids?? hmm.. didn't know that..
and there's mixed opinions about redlines.. some swear by it, some reckon it's not good for older boxes.. it's beyond my price range, and Castrol has never failed me... (yet?)
Research has shown child in front seat causes accidents, accident in back seat causes child
My bro uses toyota oil. appears to work fine. turbo and auto.
I said use the oil recommended by the manufacturer, ie Toyota genuine, not "$10 crap".Originally Posted by blacktopspirit
