    Default Fittin a swaybar

Ok i have a bigger swaybar i wanna put on my celica, when i got underneath the car, it appeared as tho the bushes on it were slipped on, but then i realised at the end of the swaybar, (both ends) you had the round flat bits that bolt up to something, my question is, how will i be able to get these bushes off, and could i even do it, or would i need to get new ones, keepin in mind that the current ones are good and i dont wanna ruin em.

I'm assuming you mean the D shaped bushes that mount the central piece of the swaybar?

If so, those bushes have a cut in them so you can take them off without having to slide them off the shaft.

If your swaybar is bigger in diameter, you will need new D shaped bushes anyway.

Hi, I take it that you have purchased a 24mmm sway bar.If that is so you can get a full set of new nolathane bushes from Pedders Suspension.
If it stops raining I will go up to the shed and find the part numbers for you as I have a set to suit the 24mm bar.

I wouldn't stress about new bushes - a set of Super Pro D bushes is all of a couple of dollars!
