1JZ main drive belt info

Hi all,
building myself a GZ20 track car...being a track car i'll have no aircon and i am trying to remove as much weight as possible..and retaing some interior

i need the belt length for 1JZ without a/c compressor anyone know it?
any help muchly appreciated,thankyou

PM Adsport or CoFFee, cant remember the exact size, otherwise id tell ya, but i was with coffee when he bought his.

Or you could just wrap a piece of string around it to get the correct length thats what i have to do as ive changed water pump removed power steering and A/C.

i deleted my ac pump but fitted a hilux steer pump and had to modify the throw on the belt tensioner. then pulled the tensioner down hard and held with a wire tie .then just run a tape measure round the pulleys. you can get a 6 rib belt in any length you want from your local parts supplier .i went with the tape length 1335 mm and should have gone 1340. it cost about $25. cheers bigwad

The belt I used when I took out mine was Dayco # 5060735 .. Tensioner has plenty of room for stretching and it fits perfect. Hope it helps

I think it was a 6PK1860 or 16PK1880 that I used on my 1JZ with deleted AC, something in that range. Have a search as I put the exact belt up in another thread.
