    Sorry - here's a hijack again

    Sometimes I noticed that at high RPM under load the temperature gauge would "flutter", by that I mean it would be reading normal, then drop off and jump back as if the connection was bad. Checked it out - no problems with the wiring, plug was clean and secure. I've re-done the grounding which didn't make any difference.

    I think it's related, and I am starting to think it's to do with power.

    hmm.. i just thought of this.
    would it be possible that this problem may be caused by a collapsed catalytic converter, clogging everything up ?

    does anyone know the voltage range the the afm is meant to be sending to the ecu
    iam getting in between roughly 3V and allmost 0 .. is this right ?
