Was it Rolling that picked up the free 4age and then sold it on the ae86 forums?
AND THEN - bitched at us all because we got cut.
Anyway...
what a sly f*cker...
You also have to remember, that if someone has posted something bad enough to deserve a large amount of negative rep, that most likely, a moderator has altered the post or removed it from public viewing so that we don't get the "copycat" syndrome.

Yes he is.
Personally I think he should be gone but It's not up to me to make that decision. It will have to wait until It can be talked about amongst the whole board

I tend to read more rather than say something stupid unless I really know what I am talking about...I think I just said something when I have no idea.lol
Anyways, what kind of things do I have to do for my rep to go up anyways?
C jay, if you dont post you wont get rep + or -.
you have to screw up pretty bad to cop negative rep, not many people dole it out for no reason (however i have copped negative rep a few times for some pretty stupid reasons)
just be constructive, make sure your spelling is reasonable and dont be a tool.

Hi,
If you don't post anything then your rep, most likely, will not change. If you post crap and false information in the Technical threads then you will cop some -ve rep. If you post something useful in the Tech threads then you'll probably get some +ve rep. If you post in the Non Car Discussion area you may get some +ve rep, depending on your post - some ppl get a lot of rep from that area, but be warned we are looking to close down rep in the NCD area.Originally Posted by C Jay
If you have a Toyota then putting it up in the Members Ride section, with some details on your car, what you've done and what you'd like to do can also earn you some +ve rep.
Asking obvious questions regarding the forum rules (such as "How come I can't get an avatar") will earn you a decent -ve rep slap - 'cos it is expected that you would be familiar with the forum rules, where things like this are mentioned. Also, never ever ask for rep in a post 'cos you will be shat on from a great height with -ve rep.
Asking technical questions can also earn rep, especially if you ask a good question that makes us think, or you state that you're new to car stuff and want to learn things. However, it is wise to search the forums before asking a question that has been asked a few times before.
If you think you've been unfairly dealt with, please PM the moderators (they are listed at the bottom of the first page of each section - as there are different moderators for different areas), and they will look into the situation.
Hope this helps.

PS: Your -ve rep is always half your +ve rep. So, if you can give +20 you can give -10.

Probably the fastest way is to make smart arsed funny comments in random threads....

I think if new people can take away a lesson from this thread it is to ask for +rep in PM's and not in a thread![]()
Another great way that peoples rep goes up is to post a thread with pics and details of your car in the members ride section, the better the info on your mods the more rep that usually ensues.Originally Posted by Ben Wilson
