i know from experience these things are prone to dodgy earths...
i lost an earth in the front and the lights went nuts along with dash lights etc. i thought the bloody thing was possesed
I dunno why but every time I let the wife take the car for a spin something happens and this one is a doozey. Somehow i have lost all electrics on the front end. Horn, headlights and heater for sure. I am assuming that i have also lost the radiator fan and signal lights. I have checked all fuses and they are good, swapped relays and still nothing. Now before i start tearing the dash apart and pull out the multimeter does anyone have an idea of what the culprit could be or at least an idea of where to start so i can save some time?
Thanks in advance

the way i'd go about it is to make sure that the items in front still work.. u can test things out like headlight, fan, horn etc etc with the battery.. then i'd see where they were connected to.. if the relays work, and the fuse is good, then the problem lies in the wiring between the relay or fuse and where it's needed.. it could also be the the relay isn't triggering on, so yea would look at switches as well..
probably go as follows, as a pretty silly suggestion, but at least it's a start
1. items work check?
2. fuses check?
3. relays check?
4. Earth check? all earth's hooked up and nothing's broken anywhere..
5. signal to relay check? (any signals out of dash? at this stage is where u'd be ripping the dash apart)
6. if there's power to all that, then it's the wiring from relay to items..
and a test light should be sufficient to pinpoint the issue.. pretty sure it's one thing, the earth thing is a good suggestionif all else fails, send it to me
