2JZ and 1JZ sumps interchangeable?

Did a quick search but didn't seem to find any concrete answers. Is it possible to change a 1JZ sump for a 2JZ to get the correct configuration - i.e. a JZZ30 1JZ rear sump, pull the bastard off, throw it away and bolt on an Aristo 2JZ front sump. Doable? Or are the bolt patterns etc completely different. I'm just finding it real hard to track down a JZX81 or 90 half-cut or even engine package. Cheers for any info you can provide.

Yep they will swap over. I have a 1jz sump on my 2jz.

Thats the hard part, front sumps are quite sort after.

how much are you willing to pay? if you call around to half-cuit/engine importers, they might be willing to do a swap+cash adjustment.
