    why doi you think 85% of people think there is something wrong? more like 85% of ppl don't care

    how does high compression pressure have anything to do with cracking oil caps? surely that is just from overtightening?
    perhaps your strange luck is self induced?

    erm nooo

    i'm 85% confident it's all good.. there's still that 15% of fear that's come from some people i talk to saying that the compression isn't normal and what not... hence this thread..

    no idea about the oil cap.. but it's not cracked along the edge if it's over-tightened..

    erm... self induced? put it this way.. i've never owned an ordinary car, and whatever can happen will happen to me..

    trust me, the compression is fine.
    sounds like those 15% are the 15% you shouldnt be turning to for advice on cars
