Default Where to buy this bolt?

    Hello,

Just looking for a bolt suitable for seatbelts(High tensile steel I suppose) with a eye as pictured below. I've got a few of them, but they are 1mm to big and don't fit the existing holes I have, I don't fancy drilling into my bodywork or re-tapping the existing thread I have.

Can anyone suggest a place in Sydney, or on the net that sells these kind of bolts? Or a racing place that can advise with Harness installs.

It's unlikely, but maybe one open on a Sunday

Or does anone have one they want to sell me? Needs to have a 10mm diameter thread, prefereably tapered a little, but not essential.

    Thanks

around the corner from castle hill toyota there's a bolt place open on saturdays (altho maybe not by the time you got there). It might be a coventry's .. I'm sure the CHT ppl could direct you to it. *shrugs*

there's a place in parra, but the name eludes me at the moment...

i think the seatbelt bolts may be a different thread pitch and size(11mmX1.00mm rings a bell)but not 100 percent sure on the size but they are different so you cant use one of your seat bolts(the wrong grade)

a seat belt bolt from any old toyota should be the same

Ecotechilux - Yup, Seatbolt belts are 11mm, which that ring is, but I need one that'll is 10mm with the ring, same grade, if such a thing exists.....

seatbelt bolts are 11x1 and have to be so no twit grabs a standard bolt and chucks it in only to have the head shear off in a crash thus injuring the occupant.

BBM at Kings Park have plates 50x70 with a nut welded to the back that you can rivet/spotweld into place.

well (5min later) just found three such objects lying around the shop and if i look hard enough i could probably find another.

Is there a Revolution Racegear near you. They should have them.

I might have a couple to spare if you're not in a particular hurry.

    PM me if interested.

interesting, i got 4 of these bolts with the harness i bought recently, but i would like bolts that have a shank on them like the factory seatbelt bolts, so i could use the eye bolts in place of the seatbelt bolts, so i can leave them in place for the harnesses, and have them fasten teh seatbelt in all the other times if that makes sense. should really look into it.
