Default walbro fittings and surge tank setup on a 1Ggte / Ra28

I have the 1GGTE and all other gear in my 28 ready to go. I have a Pierburg lift pump and walbro gsl392 inline pump ready to install. A few quick q's. The surge tank i have has 4 inlet/outlets. 3 at the top in a triangle pattern, (one high and 2 slightly lower). One larger one at the bottom. Obviously ill use the lowest large one to feed the high presure pump. Any thoughts on the best way bto use the 3 top ones? Any advantages disadvantages?

Also, the lowest one is larger than the inlet to the FP. Does anyone know where i can get replacement larger inlets for walbro pumps? I think they have a 10mm thread. Its a barb style fitting.

    Any suggestions apprecited.

    Thanks.

Generally the uppermost tank fitting, is return to tank. The other 2 are fuel into surge tank from lift pump, and fuel rail return, flip a coin on these, because it does matter which ones are used for either fuel inflow.

A couple of different size air fitting, screwed together will achieve the desired adaptation from surge tank to fuel pump.

Thanks chuck. Did you mean it doesn't matter about the lower two, or that it "does matter"? I figure there is no real difference between these two. Thanks for the input.

Hi Tom, does not matter, as both are delivery ports for fuel, regardless of pressures.

    cheers Chuck.

    Thanks guys.
Ill see if i can source some fittings and adapt something, rather than spending cash on a genuine walbro fitting. Looking forward to getting it running.

Any thoughts on where to get fittings to use as an adaptor? Im having trouble finding anything suitable.

I use my local welding supplies/metal shop, they have a huge range of brass fitting available, at about $5-6.00 each.

    cheers Chuck.

I find that this kind of stuff is pretty hard to get so i generally just go straight to pirtek / enzed. if anybody has it they will!
