at what hp did you start breaking stuff

i also twice shredded a clutch... once in the mazda rx-2.. but it was because of a locked diff and i was driving it daily.. engine made roughly 140hp, original 4 speed box.. the other was because a wrecker had installed it, and it was second hand but i could never prove it as it came out broken in pieces.. but the face it came out in pieces was testement enough it was dodgy as stock clutch, stock engine and he reckons i was riding it... it broke at 10 km/h,2000 rpms.. this is in a EG honda civic with dual carb D16 engine.. something was wrong with it and it felt like really slow... has absolutely no power at all.. probably made 40hp at the engine, though it idled fine and everything

Haha, I once broke whatever 4 speed it is that comes in a KE20 behind a standard rebuilt 3K, I think it was just it's time... and my little brother once broke whatever that KE20 4 speed is behind a 4K with a cam, it shredded like 5 teeth of 2nd gear!!! work that out!
Also had the other way...I put a CA18DET into one of those shitbox gazelle things (cos it bolts straight in, better to have a bad reason than have no reason LOL) stuck a GTiR turbo on it and boosted it to 15 pound with the standard gear box AND the standard clutch that was already in the car when i bought it and i THRASHED the living crap out of it EVERYDAY for 11 months and didn't break a damn thing. Except for panels, control arms, wheels and bumpers Haha

dont compare torque on dynos as they are generally all over the place.
ie:autos start with huge numbers and end with nothing, small turbos same thing, big turbos start with nothing.
diff ratios and gear selection also counter in.
are you looking at torque or tractive effort.
to many variables.

all that matters is wether it smokes tyres in 3rd 4th and 5th!!!!!

5th gear gets scary, dont try this on a freeway kids.

Broke my Dad's old Victa18 (or maybe it was a Victa 12... can't remember 'cos it was a long long time ago) when I put model-aircraft engine fuel into it.

It reved it's arse off and then went BANG!!! It never ran again. I think it must of been pushing over 5hp at the time... maybe even 10hp. Who knows. But, the only thing I do know is the old man was not a happy chappy, and he had to get a new mower.

Hmmmmmmm not sure if i should list all the stuff or not I have basicly broken everything there is too break , including things that are supposed to be unbreakable

For those who dont know... ENGINE 4agte
-STD big port pistons and 10:1 comp cant handle more than 14 psi
-I have been through numerous T50s i guess one thing that can be noted from this ....is that if you have good traction ( semi slicks ) you can sheer the teeth off of 3rd gear under acceleration with 283 rwkw.... So you dont need to abuse them to break them.

-You can also tear the std steel engine bracket with this amount of power too
-30 psi and std head bolts will cause the head to lift from the block.

On a different note..... My STD little cortina diff only recently went bang !! Due to me dropping the clutch just that litle bit toooooo hard. This thing which for all you toyota guys is basicly the same size / style of diff that you will find in a KE20 / 30 corolla put up with transferring 400 hp to the ground day in and day out. When EVERYTHING around it would fail ,this little guy stood tall !!! LOL
