It will be fine so long as there the right length. and did originally come from the fly wheel. You dont want to go putting in quarter panel bolts into the flywheel....
Has anyone fitted an aftermarket flywheel before?
I've had a bit of hassle with mine and the upshot of it is that I have the wrong bolts to fit my flywheel..... however, I still have the old bolts, because it was previously fitted with a drive plate for a torque converter.
My question is, how safe would I be re-using my old flywheel bolts? If I can get the ones I returned to Mr T back (I gave them back yesterday evening) tomorrow, then I'll use them. But if I can't, then I may be a bit schtuck. Opinions please![]()

Yeah it should be fine as long as they're the right ones, make sure you torque them up to the right specs
This is usually a highly debatable topic on here whether to reuse or not though, do a search and you should find some interesting reading on the subject

I've read many times before, most people saying not to re-use flywheel bolts ever! personally havent had experience with this topic though.
I was trying to find a link to a Paradise Racing US Ebay auction explaining their point of view for replacing them, but couldn't sorry.

no problems re-using flywheel bolts, always use locktight on them tho.
we do clutches and re-use the bolts, also the clutch specialist next door re-uses the bolts, most of the time also,
The bolts will set you back around $5 from Toyota most likely.
And if you're doing an auto to manual conversion, you need the manual flywheel bolts anyway( Generally, auto bolts are shorter)
