err yup TKO600. I run the .82 overdrive with a TRD 2.92:1 final drive and tick over at a wonderfully lazy 1800rpm at 100kph.

Also does 0-100 in sub 4 sec so any clown that tells you that ratio is too tall is talking out their arse and has no idea what torque means

geeze imagine the revs it would be doing if i opt for the .64 over drive with the same kind of diff ratio. Hello fuel economy

Can i ask what your 60 ft times are on your 1/4 mile passes are? and do you get much wheelspin off the line?

Cheers heaps for your info mate, really appreciate it

Sorry for all the pesky questions, but also which gear are you in when you cross the line at 122mph? and do you know roughly what revs you are doing when you cross also?

    Cheers

Cross the line in 3rd gear around 6500rpm Those numbers are on my Nankang street tyres so yes there is some wheelspin. Best 60ft time was 1.8secs so with Street ETs i should knock a coupla 10ths off that easy.

Considering bulk wheelspin with those Nankang's, that's a f'ing good 60ft for a RWD with that much torque!

I'll give it to the Nankangs, they might look like they are going up in smoke but they still throw you down the road so there's grip there somewhere I was running approx 18psi tyre pressures. They bloody last as well....i have given them wheelspinning mayhem for a good 12-18months and they still have street legal tread depth....just.

No so good in the twisties though, they still hang on but very squirmy feel that is not exactly confidence inspiring....still toasted a couple big bikes on them though and these guys could ride.

back to the thinking chair for me hehe
Ooh one more question.....for now what diff are you running? as in is it the stock GT4 rear end setup or have you changed it to something else? Not entirely relevant to my situation, just interested really.

i think an r154 will handle up to 600hp if you replace the 1st gear thrust washer (which is the only known weak point of the box) and dont drive like a wanker. As mentioned tho mate, if you are realistic and want times - an auto is the only way to go. I'm changing my ma61 back to auto when i one day get the time and money for my project...

JZA70 rear with a TRD LSD centre. The rear of the GT4 is a T-series which would've been smashed apart in small amount of time
