I suspect you have a T50 in the celica. As said above the spline on the old clutch plate is not what a normal W5x box uses.
I thought it was the one I pulled out and replaced, it was a couple of years ago now, I'll feel like a right dick if it wasnt!

i do believe the w series boxes do have different shafts as i have seen these two types of input 6shafts on hilux boxes before
is it possible that gearbox is a g series
No all the W and G boxes are the same spline like in the w 56 clutch plate photo , that other plate is a holden plate by the look of it .
