Like he said, largest capacity motor (with forced induction) that I can have. And I have a spare motor from my work ute here.
I was thinking of winging the sump too, gotta get a TA22 shell from my parents joint to see how it will fit, or if I will need to go dry sump.

    Hoskin: Hehehe

Got a new clutch put in my work ute yesterday 'cause I just couldn't be stuffed and took the day off to work on the TA22, Went to pick it up and I remembered why I usually do things myself. over $800 parts and labour, granted he did a few other things I didn't ask for but were a good idea at the time.

Anyways I kept the old clutch to see if it would work for the 3RZ to W57 i'm contemplating.
The gearbox spline is much larger than the W57 and more splines and the coverplate to flywheel bolt holes are slightly out and the W57 T-series friction plate is slightly smaller in diameter.

I rekon you could use the 3RZ flywheel and cover plate, the T-series friction plate and the W57 to make it work...

the whole 3RZ manual flywheel and clutch plate and PP will work without mods.

The clutch plate, from my 3RZ ute would not fit either of the 2 W57's I have here, WAY wrong spline!

    sure?

    i have a complete clutch/bellhousing/PP from a 3RZ out of a prado with a W56

i was under the impression the input and output splines of all the W5x series were the same
