EPC says
ST141, RT142, SA63, RA6# are the same.
I'd still check this first hand but that is what the EPC says

I need to replace my steering rack, what I need to know is, does it have to be from an ra65, or can I get one from a powersteering ra60/sa63. Or are there any other cars that have the same steering rack? Also what price would I be looking at for a second hand one?

Ra65 celica hatch, 22re with 2.25" exhaust, 500Nm @ 27rpm sold

as if a6's need p/s!...wouldn't mind one in my car sometimes...would make the bigger tracks a bit easier to drift

If you don't appreciate power steering, then you're not running enough castor.Originally Posted by timottaway

MA61 isn't the same as SA63 etc that I can say!
But yeah i'd still check to make sure!

nothing more than 4 is required for a celica this together with p/s far too light....
its a good setting to stop excessive dyanmic camber once a bit of lock is dialled in..
from experience in a track environment, p/s failures etc fair outweigh there advantages. non p/s rack with p/s arms give a quicker rack and more direct steering feeling and a better feeling of castor and steering angle.
i'm extremely bias i'm quite the non p/s diehard!
