Well... if you want to be sure you are getting Walbro... I know/work with a company that sells Walbro >edited<. I KNOW for a fact that they get/sell GENUINE Walbro pumps.
Part of my job as tech specialist is I'm on a first name basis with one of the lead engineers for Walbro. One of the COMMON discussions I have with this engineer is how many folks "over pump" their cars. Sometimes it can lead to idle, and off idle operation issues! We discuss pump and pump options for MANY different cars.... not just Toyotas... or AE86s.....
Not to burst your bubble... but NO n/a 4AGE needs a GSS pump either 341, or 342. The highest n/a hp for a 4age is say 275??? you only need 145 lph to satisfy that power level!
Now, if you are running boost... and say you are pushing in EXCESS of 400hp... THEN you MAY need a GSS341, or GSS342.
A few brief facts... stock Walbro fuel pump kit for the AE86 will support upto 160 crank hp. If you are running more than 160hp, fuel-pumps.net and I "developed" an intermediate kit for those running more than 160, but less than 240 (n/a hp) In effect we put together a pump from a B18C Integra and the install parts from the AE86 and came up with a boost for those that need more... yet don't need overkill. The final nice piece to this... it runs quiet since it isn't a "racing part" Btw.. the GSS pumps are all racing parts... so there is no warranty................
