I had the retry problem with the old EPC floating around. I doubled some video files untill available space was under 3gig. It then let me load the cd's.
I automatically reduced the hard drive space down to 2gig when installing this 2004 ed and had no problems.

Thanks Cruiser, the codec fixed my video problem.

This is correct. It takes a while to burn all the data discs so you need a bit of patience. I only suggest burning the discs as the simplest way of loading them. If someone is having trouble simply installing the program, making virtual drives etc might further complicate the process.

But if you are fairly PC savvy then, yes, mount virtual drives. It will save time and blank CDs.

Absolutely. It's the best way to do it.

For those still having trouble note the option in the video where the guy loads all the data disks from a region in one go by shift-clicking them all. A great time saver. Also note how he does this and what drive is selected in the box above the list of data disks.

For anyone still experiencing installation problems, if you want to get on MSN tonight I can talk you through the process. This way I can better ascertain what is going awry with your system. I'll be online most of the evening until about 10 or so.

    Cheers,

    Its OK!!!
I'm just a RETARD, i must have been dropped on my head as a small boy and i think my parents where stoned when i was conceived not to mention my Mum must have been drunk and stoned while giving birth to me, and there may have even been a traumatic experience with doing stuff on computers the right way.

got it working, thanks for being very patient with me.

it sounds like you just need to tick the box circled in the picture, or when it installed did you select the correct source drive to load cd's from? after long hours trying to figure out my problems i figured out that the program works perfect and it was something i missed.

    In the example screen above:

    1. Click the checkbox to say you want to install data disks from that country.
    2. Make sure your C: drive is selected
    3. Click Add
    4. Shift click to select all the data disks for that country
    5. Click on the hard drive option to install to your HDD
    6. Click on F10:Exec down the bottom

It should then prompt you for the data disk as it needs it.

Thanks peter, Thats exactly how i am doing it, it goes though like its adding them, takes some time, then i install the next disc. get to the last one then it goes back to menu, i go back to CD setup Nothing is listed at all as added, has done the same thing from disk or deomon tools. when it adds the files it creates folers like J1 E1 ect in one of the folders.
I have tried reinstalling several times everything i can think of unfortunatley.
