Ok, so I finally got around to getting this working, I just plugged in an old small HDD to use as an exclusive EPC drive.

Now, the trouble I am having is getting it to find stuff for my car. I have an AE101 GTZ Levin, and it won't recognise the model or frame number.

Can someone help? My numbers are as follows:
    Model: E-AE101-ACMXR
    Frame: AE101-5204279

    Thanks.

Have you set it up for Jap models?

Go into Initial Setup Then Currant CD Area Version

I had this same problem with mine.

Edit* I just tried it, and it works fine, but you Frame number is not listed! is it the same thing as your Vin number? or have you got another number from somewhere.

I got it working. The numbers are from my car, but I ended up clicking on "model name/catalogue code", selecting my car from the list and going from there. I did see the jap selection and made sure it was right.

Dunno why my numbers didn't work, but by going the long way around, it is now working with my numbers in....?

Hey, is there any way to search part numbers without knowing the model? Ie if I have a part number from a part or the net, can I find out where it's from? It seems I have to tell it what car and work down to the part number.

The full Toyota EPC up to 2003 can be downloaded from here:

    http://www.phatg20.net/index.php?opt...c=select&id=86

A warning though... its 18GB when all extracted if you keep it on your HDD and use daemon tools (the best way to use it instead of burning lots of CDs).

    This is an old version.
Might be ok if you've got an older car, but newest Caldina is a 96

    Yes.
Do a search, without the VIN for a 97 Caldina, only shows 190 series, which finished in March.
Looking at newer one which is a Nov 97 GTT (which means those hubs might actually get some use )
ok, yes I could then change to a 98 model, but who knows if something's changed...

why not just choose ST215 from the list of cars. and then choose engine/box combination etc.
you don't need any engine or chassis number.
at least not in japanese version.
maybe the english version is shit?
