Matt,
How is your car going? Tell me your personal experiences with the GT3582r, the power you make, the boost you run and the lag you put up with...
Ill eventualy have, the same / similar setup...
Cheers,
Jase
I'll be running a 3582r on the supra, but the lexus uses a HKS 3040 (similar to a garrett 3076r). It's ok, but the turbine housing is a touch too big. It's a 1.12, but the turbine is a T25 not a T3 like a garrett so it's not quite as big as it sounds. I'm on the lookout for aa 1.01, I reckon with the physically smaller T25 exhaust housings that'll be just about perfect

That said, I'll be using the gt3540 with the 1.06 housing on the 1uz.
This was a good read, any updates since it started? anyone new using a 35 now?

The 3076R runs the same turbine and housing as the 3082R right?Originally Posted by The Real Roadrunner
Also i know the 3082R doesnt have datasheets on the garrett website, and i dont think its on their comparison sheet either, but are they not still in production? as i got quoted for one not long ago?
If they are no longer in production im guessing whats left is just shelf stock... is there any reason why they ended production of this model?
Also according to the garrett website the GT30R referrs to the 3076R not the 3082R is this right?
forgive me if im missing something here but if all you want is 250 or even 300 then the 3076R would be much more 'streetable' then the 3582R which it sounds like your considering? ...why use something that will make up to 350rwkw if all you want is 250rwkw?Originally Posted by Smokey228
