need 3sge ECU pinouts

Ive been searching like crazy looking for these pinouts, and ive been uprooting dead and buried threads, and all ive been able to find is 3SGTE pinouts by the truck load. a 3SGE pinout that doesnt match any of the plugs we have, and 5sfe and 3sfe pinouts, also by the truck load.

the car is an SW20 3SGE Auto , Gen1/2 Motor.

help please!

There's some in the back of one of my haynes manuals, might help you (it's for gen 1 3sge, the mr2 will have a gen 2 though...)

I don't have a scanner, and batteries for my digicam are flat so I'll take a picture of it and post it up once I have charged batteries

apparently the gen1 and gen 2 are similar enough to work, the gen3 has a couple of wires around the wrong way and it wont start because of it.

also, andyone know what the flying lead on the 3SGTE ECU is for? i was thinking ABS/AC/etc/etc?

you have to be careful with sw20 mr2s

there is different pinouts for traction and abs ecus
and electric power steering aswell

also there is the air con

if your car has any of these getting them to work properly requuires afew tricks

if u do testing and stuff u can work it out

took me afew days to find out everything when fuking round with these

another thing is the cor has different trigger wires between some 3s engines

is the auto controlled by the ecu

ive never seen an mr2 auto

this was Auto, now its manual, so i guess ive never seen one either

the motor is simple, no abs, no TRC etc. etc.

The link Chris (Hamgatan) posted didnt really help, as there isnt a single 3SGE pinout there. but Dales seems somewhat ok.

if i cant figure anything out, ill have to take the cover off the ecu and look at the pins on the board, this is my first MR2, and im suprised at how different it is to the supras/soarers/cressidas etc. ive done.

the fact that there is no fuel pump relay confused me all to hell at first!

nah its all good, i gotta go through with photoshop and rebuild all the wiring diagrams, as there are heaps of lines and letters missing, but it makes for awesome info for anything else in the future, cheers!
