at a guess, that knob is more then likely a fuel trim knob....
Can anyone give me some information about this ECU? It's for a AE101 ST20v engine. I've looked about on the net and haven't found anything out about them. What is that plug coming out of the case with the adjustable knob for?
Cheers, Tom.

the whole thing is obviously useless, you may as well just send it to me.
Julian.
hahaha, ive seen a few modded starlet ECU's around that look a lot like that, just with different tuning shop stickers on them instead of TOM's
best guess is the knob is fuel trim, and it is a chipped/remapped standard ECU with the extra trim control

What would be the point in a fuel trim knob?
Been told this is the translation.
N1 Fuel Computer TEC 101
○ fuel Adapter of the whole mapping area, ignition and set map switch.
An improved response by using an N1 fuel regulator set sold separately.
Have you used this ecu yet? I am after something like this to play around with my engine tuning, Where did you come across it?
I saw it on Yahoo Japan. I didn't buy it, gone for a Megasquirt instead.
I read a bit about the megasquirts, how is it going now and was it very hard to set up?
the old TRD race ECU's had 2 or 3 knobs, one was ignition trim, other was injector duration (mixture) and the other was for temperature compenation which i recall worked on both fuel and ignition. I've still got one here somewhere, will check. My TOMS built AE82 FX-GT had one of these when it raced in Europe & UK in the mid 80's but it was fast ditched for better options
