Oh, for those interested in ToyFest, it was one of the best times (motor related wise) that I've had in a long time.
But a LOT of that enjoyment was A) driving across the country, and B) having my own car there.
WELL worth the trip.
i would love to do this.....
maybe next year.....depending on funds...... would like to put my name down, but not sure atm.....so i will keep my hand down![]()

I'm keen on doing one of the trips may not be this year more then likely next year when the car is more complete. Been thinking about holidaying that way this year and seen thats right after my birthday might be a good idea. See what I can work out!

Nothing is "epic" after 13 hours in a Landcruiser dude - sleep in the passenger's seat, or driving and getting to choose the radio channel is as good as it gets.Originally Posted by JustCallMeOrlando

Yeah, but it's easy (the Nullabor that is) - you drive along, realise the trees have disappeared, lose all radio reception, fill up with fuel, drive a bit more, the trees start again, and you're out the other side! Hit Norseman and cut through the backway to Hyden and you're just about home!
I remeber when I use to do the many many long trips my mum would play On The Road Again by Willy Nelson over and over again, I use to keep saying cant wait to get off the road again lol
But yeah would still love to do the trip again!
