im also interested to know if those semi solid mounts bolt up to a jza80!
I remember seeing the jza80 mounts on a bit of an angle? if my memory serves me right! while these are just plain straight?
Ok, this is what I want to know. Will these semi solid engine mounts (GB for jza70 style) fit my car.
RIght mount top
Right mount bottom
Left mount
I have jzx81 mounts but I would be continuing to use the alloy part of it but replacing the rubber with this new stuff. It looks like the mounts may have been modded to bring the engine down lower in my bay. On the drivers side, from the bottom plate to top plate (which isn't joined which is why I need new mounts) is about 650mm. I couldn't get an accurate measurement on the passanger side.

IIRC from reading it on SF USA, the 96 onward JZA80 mounts (rubber sections) are interchangeable with the late style a70 crossmember. Those mounts on SF AU are designed for the later model crossmember so it *SHOULD* fit that 96+ JZA80.
Do a quick search on SF USA for semisold mounts in the a70 section. They use the late model JZA8) rubber mounts as a semi-solid style upgrade.

JP: Did you get a chance to measure up the mounts on the weekend?
Cheers
