Hey guys just helped a mate rebuild his harshly abused carby haha, (mainly held together by cable ties and ect, basically a new carby now. Runs awesome, but every time you stop the car fuel poors out a small hole (like a jet) down near the auxilliary butterfly (power butterfly) and fills it up, causing flooding on startup, and alot of fuel, now my guess is high float level, but its just above half way up the glass?
Is that ok or can someone give me a pointer...is it just overflow or what?
steve
Sounds like the needle and seat are sticking causing fuel to pass out through the discharge tubes at the top.
Cheers Brett.
