yeah it wasnt the afm, i tried another.
how do i reset the computer?

with the afm off im assuming it would run better if you blocked with with your hand the same as with the afm on. it runs exactly the same either way.

will have another look tomorrow or will take it back to the mechanic.

the suggestion here seems to be that the computer isnt recieving a AFM signal . . which it needs to know how much fuel to inject.

u reset the computer by disconnecting power from the ECU for about 15min

so if i got the safc tuned would that fix the afm problem?
is it because the battery + safc have been disconnected and its lost its memory and therefore not operating the afm?
but still shouldn't the car just stall will no safc?

thanks for all the help, im confused lol

    ok holdup

first,, is the SAFC correctly connected? do u need wiring instructions to confirm this?
if ur SAFC is wrongly connected u might not be getting an airflow signal to the ECU which is what would be causing the problem

i would first get it running good without the safc
then get it tuned otherwise you could bring another problem into the tuning

i had the exact same problem on my GA70 supra. Turned out it was my dodgy SAFC wiring.

dayzii: how did you fix it? did you just fix the wiring or did you take the safc out?

u might wanna pull out the SAFC and try again. . make sure all the wires goin to the AFM are connected properly because if just one wire (airflow) has a bad connection it will cause problems.
once u get it fixed and running without the SAFC u can chuck it back in.

otherwise if u dont wanna rip out the safc ull just have to follow alot of the wires to make sure they're all good

also the LSD doesn't seem to be doing its job, even in the wet it seems both wheels aren't spinning.
it worked before the swap, any idea's why it would have stopped now or how to fix it?
