JZ engine mounts from bonneville worked a treat on my 2JZGE and also on a few 1JZGTE's i helped with on JAZE's old cars.

R154 will NOT fit level without tunnel modification. It will go in, but will destroy uni joints from the excess stress.

The JZ bonneville mounts were designed to allow a W58 to bolt up to factory crossmember location.

Getting the gearbox too fit is a bit of a pain but is possible with a big sledge hammer. And to answer your second question, yes you can use the bonnieville mounts to mount the r154 up. You need to use a ma61 auto tranny mount. I used this setup on my 2jzgte and r154 install.

Also to add. The A341 to bolt up with the factory Auto crossmember as well (Just need a custom tail shaft)

i did a write up on this in the old forum...with pics if its still there.

hint - borrow an oxy torch as there needs to be a lot of room made - then you can just use a lump hammer. You might find it a bit difficult trying to swing a sledge hammer under the car. you need a yoke from a a340e auto transmission. A lot of driveshaft places can get these anyway. I used an Mz10 auto transmission mount.
