The output shaft on the jap spec is a 22 spline and is slightly thicker as opposed to the 20 spline aus spec
Are all the t50 gearbox's the same length?, just wondering if they changed over the various models they came out in?,
cheers

input splines are the same its the output that vary also the 22 spline box bearing retainers and seals are different to the earlier box, nothing a lathe and a bit of work cant sort out tho
edit: search and ye shall find![]()
also the belhouseing are not the same, as in were the clutch fork goes, and the cluuutch slave cylinder mounts on different, then same have the mounts for the gear box a lil firther forward than others![]()
* 84 FJ60 - 37's, 308, 80 series coils/diffs and LS1TT in the makin
* 73 KE26 - x4 Brown Wagz
* 73 KE20 NOW 3T-TE
* 84 KE70 Panno
* MX83 LS1 Track Car
same length - but the early 20 spline ones had different shifter positions to the later ones

of course bellhousings will differ from engine series eg t50 => T series (same as 1g) and t50 => 4a, fuck even the jdm 4a bellhousing is different to the adm
hurricane do you have any idea what you are talking about? cos ur post made very little sense and seemed to only say what i said in a less coherant manner
