1JZ & AFR gauge question.......

Who's got a 1JZ with an AFR gauge connected???


I've just connected mine up to my newly 1JZ converted Soarer & its appears to work, but.... it does'nt switch back & forth like a normal lambda gauge would, it just sits in the middle & hardly fluctuates, is this normal?? It goes to rich under boost though which is good.

If not I may have wired it up wrong

is it running a standard computer? im fairly sure they only swing when the car is running closed loop, so if your running aftermarket management chances are you wont be running closed loop ever!

It standard at the moment, only just fitted it all up.

the guage has it's own wideband sensor?

maybe your car isent going into closed loop running then? any fault codes?

what is the price of the afr
if its a cheapshit one under 150 or 200 bucks they arent very accurate
