So this is the part that I was talking about - it bolts onto the top of the tb. As you can see, it seems rather ambidextrous in that it can be mounted both ways. Only problem being it fouls a few things mounting that way

Yeah, you can mount it anywhere where the vac line and cable reaches.

Just drill and tap other holes for the pipes then. And cut and plug the existing ones. The walling on it is thick enough to let you do that with ease.

Hey Poujoo,
Glad to see you've got the A2W IC done.
I may be considering this as an option, my gze has the 5500rpm drop off and i'm going to be changing things that might be causing the ecu to intervene. Heck, might even get it on a dyno and have someone look at the ecu to try and determine what is triggering the action.
I'm soon to replace the throttle body. which various people have reported as a very worthwhile mod to do (some claiming 10kw atw, others a more snappy throttle).
I would suggest that if you are going to get a custom pipe like the above made up then seriously think about replacing your TB at the same time to remove one of the many restrictions in the whole intake setup, because any custom pipe for the gze TB won't be a simple bolt on for the 4age or 2/3VZ or 3SGTE TB that are options for the gze.

Hey inertia, thanks for the tips - but I think TB replacement at this point in size is just too much trouble...
Another question for takai - Where does this spade connector go? lol I assume it comes from the alarm (the black box in the background) - I managed to move the cruise control no probs - what is the cable that attaches to the throttle? Does that have to be under tension?

Looks like a ground wire. NFI where it goes.

i even spaced out the throttle body pipe to make a new/bigger inletmanifold snout that feeds the four runners.
