Yeah, and a couple of barbed bits for aircon and pcv recirculation. Just get them to put some brass fittings in for these.. or speedflow/earls if you want spiffy.
you mean facing the other direction? Yeah I'm asking them atm. See what he says.Originally Posted by takai
There are no mechanical parts inside that bit of pipe are there? Just the four bolts bolting onto the top of the charger correct?

Apparently needs to be laser cut (flange) and they can't do that themselves.... Gonna ask for a quote on how much for that part - I can forsee the rest of the piping (as you drew) to be fairly easy as you'd just follow where the old IC piping went. It's just the flange itself that's a bit gay.Originally Posted by takai

I'll keep you guys informed.
Alloy or steel?

Uhhh I'm not sure to be honest - I guess steel? But they can't do it - and I'm not sure if any other person can (unless you guys wanna recommend a guy for meOriginally Posted by takai

It should be alloy same grade as what is used for i/c piping but just plate and thicker. Just get a trace of what u need and take it to a cutting place. If you had the tools you could do it yourself as alloy is alot easier to cut and steel. All you would need would be a hole saw a few drill bits of various sizes and a die grinder.

Simboo should be able to cut the flange for you, he is pretty handy with such things. Either that or talk to Dan at Toyospares who should be able to do the same.
Failing either of those, then Nelson at Racing Project (if they are still there) would be able to do it for sure.

I was having a looksee down that end of the car - do you think the pod could be relocated to inside the front guard? Because as it is the alarm(?) blocks space. Battery is dead so I need another one of those - old one isn't charging lol.
Yeah, leaving the car less used for a year will do that. The battery was replaced in Jan 2004.
You can relocate it to the front guard. I had it there originally (passenger side, see the hole) but i was afraid of it getting water in it during all the HEAVY 2004 rains.

Yeah, New battery is on the cards now - what's the thing that sits directly above that hole in the passenger side guard? Was I correct in assuming it was the alarm or at least part of the alarm?Originally Posted by takai
Also, did you run just a pipe through the hole - because there is a pipe that is kind of covering it (I guess i can move that)
Now just waiting on that flange and the custom intake lol. Thanks for the help![]()
Im confused as to what you mean, take a photo and ill tell you.

The black thing with the power cord coming out of it - seems to have a vac tube attached to it too?
In other news, I've taken off the pipe that resides before the TB so i can get a flange laser'd up so the great switcheroo can happen

Thats the actuator the for cruise control. It been moved since i had the car, It used to sit between the strut tower and firewall on the passenger side from memory. It was probably moved when the AC was put in.
