As mikal said today about someone else doing the garage theme, it's been done multiple times by many different groups.
Mikal's suggestion (which I agree with), is stuff them we can do it better, so we will.

I reckon we keep with the garage theme. We have an actual company (Bling Garage) with ours. the other mob probably don't.
Matty bring the hoist down. that'd show the other crowd up.

If wanting to do the oldskool theme, one word "CrossColors". wear your jeans backwards etc.

I know the garage theme has been done before.. and we would do it again.. but if someone else is doing it already this year.. maybe we can save it for next year or something..

keep throwing around idea's guys.. hopefully we can come up with something original - or at least something that someone isn't doing already this year.
Just remember, we will need enough time to organise props and stuff, so if its gonna be big, we'll need to start organising soon.

Hey guys..

I had a bit of a thought on an alternative to the garage theme, but sorta we could still use some of the same props..

The "under construction" theme.
Doesn't really have too much to do with cars - but would be easy to set up.

Steal some street cones, get some of those blinking warning lights, some scaffolding over the DJ desk with OST signage hanging from it, those 'safety hats must be worn' signs, a drill wrapped around someone wheel, a sledge hammer through dean's windscreen.. you get the general idea.
We can get some of those fluro/reflective council worker vests aswell with OST logo on the back or somethin.

Should be pretty easy to pull off.. and the things we can't borrow (ie nick from the side of the road) I'm pretty sure you can hire from places..

something i haven't seen, is all the cars playing music at the same time. I'ltd be cool to hook up all the car's to the same music source. Someone get an high frequency FM band transmitter, or we can all get RCA inputs into the amps/headunits.

Yay I have a car now but I dont think it is up to show standeds just yet But hey if u need a old crown as part of the Under construction theme im keen.I dont think you can get much more old skool than it (1965 Crown Deluxe)

for the multiple car music idea some companies sell those fm transmitters for the portable mp3 players (ipod etc) grab one of those and dial in the FM station and rock on. that'd be pretty cool i reckon.

damo remember I already have two of those workers vests for the "OST media" idea.

hrrm not really so keen on the sledgie through my windscreen idea. I have a spare bonnet that we could use tho. maybe an axe through it. matty could weld up some barricades to keep the riff raff out.
