Default Maxing out the stock computer on a 3TGTE

Hey all usual noob question by me but hey if you dont ask you dont know..

Just need to know what I can do within the range of the stock 3tgte computer,I do plan to go all out with an aftermarket one down the track but its just not in the budget at the moment.

At the moment it has mild head work, exhaust, filter, highflowed CT20,and a dump pipe getting made up,I plan to run a 2 stage boost controller (max12) but have also come across a custom inlet manifold, will the stocka handle the new inlet manifold?

Does anyone have any experience tricking the AFM?

    Thanks in advance,

    Nathan

Being an AFM and not MAP sensored you will find it'll cope with the changes better.

You can change the spring tension inside the AFM to tune the mixtures slightly. You'd really want a wideband 02 meter on it while doing that though to see the results.

    Nathan,

best advice is chuck it all together, be gentle with it for a week or two, then take it down to SAS for a "trim-up" of the AFM and dissy. This will make it a little better, although is of course not ideal
