    Default KE35 with18rg front springs

Okay all, after some input regarding best springs to put in this vehicle.
Vehicle will be used for motorkahnas and autocross and is not for road use. At present has original struts with cut standard springs ( these springs have to go, and NO I didn't put them in they were in the car when I bought it).

Initially just after suggestions for best spring rate with this set up, down the track will be converting to hilux front and rear so dont want to spend a fortune, but am happy to buy new springs.

Anyone got any experience with this combo, I feel the ones I have been using with 2TG's are not hard enough.

    regards

    Greg

perhaps you shoudl refer to the car the springs would come out of, rather than the engine, to get people to respond.

you will change to hilux front and rear suspension?
substantially upping springs without correspondingly matched shocks may not give a very good result either.. perhaps better to settle on the struts you want, and then go for spring/shock package perhaps?

Ok, story is that I havea ke35 with 18rg fitted, competition starts next week
and suspension is stuffed. I have new(rebuilt) adjustable KYB inserts to fit the 35 struts, so I want to use these for this season. Next year will upgrade to Hi lux discs and calipers and diff, but at this stage time is against me, so am just looking at replacing cut springs with new ones but wanted to see if anyone has done one already and if they knew what spring rate they used. Also have fitted a custom 24mm front sway bar

Rear springs will be changed to ke 38 wagon springs and tokico shocks with a custom sway bar and locked diff ( this is all ex my old rally car).

I know I will be doing it twice but am actually using everything ex my shed, but the springs I currently have were for a ke 30 with 2tg and are getting old so thought it was time to get some new ones.

Hope this clarifies it a little bit.
    Regards

    Greg
