Yeah, otherwise your fuel pump could start dying, which will cost a lot more in repairs. (unless its like the uber bosch pump?)

Perhaps its worth even going to a bigger injector again?
Or converting to topfeed if you have the sidefeed 3SGTE rail?

Depends how much power you want to get from her.

Walbro's struggle seriously over 60psi, unless you get the hi-output version of it, which most aren't.

    42psi base + 18psi boost = 60psi fuel pressure.

yeah, a 1:1 is not a rising rate, it maintains fuel pressure with increasing boost, but does not increase it.
umm, my mind is fading from no sleep - someone else explain this coherently please

Cheap people use it on turbo engines to fit a fuel cut defender (effectively clamping the injector output) and then refill the fueling requirements with the RRFPR.
Very dodgy, but I guess it must work adequately enough for people to do it.

im hitting max injectors on 6psi so have got the rr to wind the fuel pressure up a few psi.

or to make the injectors big and strong ive used a rr to give me a bit more out of the injectors.
