    on a test between an SR20DET from an s14 and an SR20DET from a GTiR, we found that with the single throttle, 50% throttle didn't mean 50% power while the the ITB's of the GTiR were very close 50% throttle was about 50% throttle etc etc

    The above test was on an engine dyno.

    That sounds remarkably similar to my throttle too.........funnily enough, on my motor 50% revs was about 50% revs too!

    Well said hehe ...with the GTR & GTI-R i suspect it was a on paper engineer thing looks good
    but in the real world ending up a pain in ass for little gain & turbo technology was lacking in the area of response back in those days .... my take on things ....

    Ahh, but this was racing. There was only little gain, BUT there was gain They wouldnt have spent the money cos it looks good.
