13bt Into 79 corona 2000

Now ive searched and really want this info, got the engine and the car just need the destructions

I haven't heard of it being done before.

Basically the same as any engine conversion.

Take out old engine.

Plonk in new one. See where you want to mount it, what fouls etc. Determine engine mounts and gearbox mounts.

You will need an EFI fuel pump so if your car isn't EFI probably best to go surge tank setup.

Brakes will need to be upgraded. Don't know if the xt130 shocks with pug and hilux bits fit on your model?

Diff will probably break. Find out what model it is and see what other people have done with them. Probably Hilux diff conversion though.

Depends on how much power you are aiming for. Stock 13bt (with no torque j/k) probably wouldn't be that hard on the diff but if you are looking at turbo upgrades etc. then probably best to go for a Hilux diff or cut down 9".

They like using corona 4 spd boxes as well so if you have one, use it

You have probably alreay thought it, but ill say it anyway.

Use a W58 or even the stock W50 gearbox and get the 13b bellhousing for it, then mate the engine to it and make the mounts so it fits.

NB: W50 box is generally called "celica box" and W58 "supra box", but the people at dellow will know what you are on about anyway.

Yea its a 4 speed, just thought it would be the ultimate commadore confusion, considering its the only things they drive up here in tamworth thanks for ideas and help lads
