I had the opportunity to take a couple photo's of the 1JZ front and rear mounted sump's next to each other. I thought some toymodders might find it interesting.
I apologise if its been done before.
The sump on the left is from a JZZ30 and is identical to a JZA70 1JZ sump. The sump on the right is from a JZX90. ...Never mind the cut out on the JZZ30 sump.
Question: Where does the JZX81 sump fit into the equation? ...is it identical to the JZX90 'front sump'?

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to JZA70 R again.
Nice piccies and clean sumps
the late front sump has more strengthining ribs on it , and the lower pan hasnent got the front that is on a 45 deg angle
Dave
Not as clean sumps, but heres a couple pics i've got from comparing these with the true crown mid sump there as well.

1jzge, i think its JZS13x series?
1/2JZGE - depends on whether it's a JZS131 or JZS133.
dig dig
someone asked me why one of the sumps is missing such a large piece of alloy,
its because the other sump that looks complete actually had a piece missing from the same location (dropped/broken), so the other sump (that has a large piece missing) was used as a donor sump.
The large piece missing was cut from the donor and 'stitched' to the damaged sump after a section was removed. This was all done by a local no name workshop that had a brain and alloy welder. a jig was used and this is the result.
if you look at the complete sump closely you can see the weld trail...
oh and the gearbox bolted up afterwards too thank god lol
