Are they modified in any other way ?Originally Posted by kingmick
I would have guessed they would be more of a drain at revs that high, unless they are near useless at the low end instead.
Sorry i should have edited instead!
Remmeber, a 1uz is 4 litres and a sc14 is used on a 2 litre engine so two sc14's will do close to the same job as one on a 1ggze with standard pulleys and more with a diffrent pulley!
Im sure oldrolla wouldnt have got the maths that wrong.
edit, forgot the NT of wouldnt.

I dont know much about it as the guy is a car salesman so a bit of a tool!Originally Posted by Enchanter
the pulley seemed small so id imagine its set for the higher revs.
As far as i could see it was a great setup for the money.

That is with the boost limited at 8 PSI and a smallish TB.
Oh, and a 25% (small) efficient intercooler.

No boost limit and huge TB:

Wrong!
ten char
what is ??
turbo cheaper and easyer! sorry i should have said that!
*waits for barage of oncoming neg rep*
yeh i spose i shouldnt have said that, but then again its been done quite a few times, so it'd be easier finding the parts to get it completed. nothings easy and cheap when it comes to cars![]()
Yup, i disagree too.
SC14s will be cheaper to setup than turbos delivering the same high end HP/TQ figures.
SC's will be better too... no boost lag.

what are the sc14 from?
Sorry, I was thinking of 2 SC14's, but it was actually one SC14 running at double speed that Stu did the maths for.

Twin SC14's will look shit though.
Much better off with a single M90.
Easier to plumb, and not much more expensive for initial purchase.
