    Has anybody considered the back end turbo solution? we fitted one to a mates MX5/Miata as a fun weekend project & by eck it worked much to our surprise. Plumbing was realtively a pain in the ass but not difficult, would sure solve many of the space fitting issues.

    PS: It's sticking a turbo at the BACK of the exhaust system under the boot we called it the Turboot system & I beleive the name has stuck. Yes it made boost at 3-4k rpm & it made 6psi & yes it was a stock Nissan S13 turbo.

    I saw this done on a tv show once. It may have been rides, if not then a similar american show. It worked well for them too, no reason it wouldnt really, you would just have a little extra lag.

    they also do the rear conversions on the TOYOTA TUNDRA v8's,

    i guess one good point would be less defect for having a turbooz (ie cops wouldnt se it)

    i think that was how Jaffa had his sillycar set up prior to the current abuse he is inflicting upon it. iirc he said the little bit of lag made for more manageable power delivery, as opposed to the snap boost when the tt's were mounted a foot from the exh ports.
