Can i make a suggestion?
I have been to most of WA's top workshops and i have been most impressed with XSpeed's work commitment to a Dyno day.
You cant winge about the car parking as despite parking on the street your still out the front of the workshop and at least your not fighting for carparks, risking being hit and or scraping over speed bumps.
Xspeed go to a alot of effort to make it a special event, they open up and secure the showroom so you can go in and have a look around, ask questions ect ect...
They are the only guys i know of that set up a big plasma tv to read the dynos on and there is plenty of room to stand around the dyno...(your not crammed into a tiny room and limited to a window like hyperdrive)
AND your car is left in the hands on Ant Scali not some random kid driving your car in and out of the shop.
XSpeed ftw.
Todd, you should be a damn salesman
Coz ya got me with that pitch

I like big tv's.
I liked the hyperdrive parking
About to go Exterior crazy.
i dont like other dikheds driving my carim sold lol
The Hyperdrive guys got you to bring your own car up to the door. They then drove it slowly through the workshop. I'd be more than happy to go back. Their parking kicked ass, because there was no one else in the carpark on a Saturday.

Id be keen to go back there aswell. Parking was good, the guys were cool too, and had no chance whatsoever to thrash our cars or whatever. Also at $30 for a run i thought that was more than reasonable.
Plus i dont think any1 had a whinge about there hp figures being too high or too low, unlike some other dyno places.

FWIW XSpeed and HyperDrive's Dynos are usually within 1-2kW of each other.
Both are running the same dyno with the same software, so you'd hope they were the same.

Hmmm I'd rather go to a decent garage like hyperdrive. I prefer to keep away from xspeed as they might have the mighty ant(open to opinion there) and his car but they arn't the best of garages. Unless you have what they want to do, forget it. They are too picky with their work. GO hyperdrive!.
VOTE 1 HYPERDRIVE. OST needs you!(insert pic of uncle sam pointing his rusty finger)

Ok well i wasn't actually having a dig at HyperDrive, i was referencing ALL workshops but seeing as you are all getting defensive for HD i will also mention the following.
1. HD have 2 MASSIVE speedbumps in their carpark that make it difficult for lowered cars to manovuer over, i almost had to call a tow truck to get me off one...
2. I asked HD staff not to take my supra past 6k RPM as i know it just loses power after that mark... They asked me why and laughed when i told them my reason (Do i have to give a reason?) ...1st run they obeyed and backed off at 6k but 2nd run they just revved it out to the limiter which pissed me off big time.
Xspeed had no troubles doing what i asked and didnt even want to know why.
Having said that im happy to give HD another shot but first impressions DO last.
peace and happiness to all.
Were the 1st and 2nd run done in a row? If so, that is a pretty cheeky thing to do.
