Now that I am on the list it has renewed my enthusiasm to get a few odd jobs done on the car before then, I got stuck into it last night and I'll try not to leave completing it to the last minute

Shane, that's what we all aspire to! I'm just going to aim for flushing/bleeding brakes, and checking pads. And fitting new tyres. And building a rear brace/harness bar to install my harness. (thanks damo!) And buying and fitting a bucket seat. And...

That's why it's important to prioritise, cause you just work until you run out of time.

Merudo, there'll be others doing the same, usually a decent group of spectators/passengers.

Yeah the list is never ending but it does have 3 jobs on it I would like done before the day:

New front brake setup (almost done and ready to fit, just a little machining to do).

New tyres (proving harder to achieve than I first thought )

Oil cooler/thermostat/remote filter setup.

Plus a service checkover etc. just to make sure it's all tip top and problem free.

Am I the only Canberra person going?

Yeah, looks like it, unless nathan (roundy) comes down and stays at the relos the night before like he usually does. Justen backed out but might still come up for the day to spectate.

If you're the only one you should think about coming up and meeting us the night before for a beer.

yeah but i most likely will be with you guys at the place this time.

Normally i make a bit of a weekend of it and hang around canberra with my mate and relo's...but this time i don't think i will be able to (and will only know on about the monday/tuesday of that week anyways)

hmm, well if someone wants a passenger who will provide petrol money + beer or food, then I might swing a ride with someone else, no point in driving to wakefield if I can ride shotty with someone else. However, if worst comes to worst, I'll drive.

The way it looks now (ive been sucked into trying the soarer on the track) i'll be going with the Skylines Australia mob on the 8th of June, but I'm still interested in coming down with the Toymods crowd

Sounds cool mate, I just didn't see the point in me taking the ever-thirsty soarer if there was a spare seat available and I wasnt hammering around the track watching people go around the outside of me (my car is a boat, i can admit it)

Have to talk about it closer to the date for sure
