Nah, if you want a bbq you'll have to take one. I'm sure you'd get plenty of appreciative toymodders if you put on a bbq for them.

Otherwise, the cafe does bloody good old school burgers; just about the only time i get a burger like that these days is when i go to wakefield. Food for (racing) champions!

Central Coast NSW - Gosford, just to simplify things. If I have to drive somewhere then I will to meet up, but yeah I'd love to come down in that Soarer of yours Would be funny, in all the time I've owned my soarer, I've never ridden in a UZZ30...


Hmm... if they have a canteen they probably wouldnt like me taking a BBQ then, huh....

I might buy a teeny tiny one thats big enough for like 8 sausages or something and just have a little sausage sizzle...

and its on me too, if I do it (ie, ill bring a shitload of snags for all if i get the bbq business organised either that or bring your own stuff you want cooked up

Wakefield will have no problems with you throwing your own bbq - we do it on some of our days, depending on if the non-driving chefs come or not. (They're not coming this time)

Tracked down the tyres I wanted and they turn up today So that is one more thing I can tick off the list.

It's only about 45 minutes from my place to Wakefield so I will most likely just drive up on Friday morning. It's sounding like it will be a good day.

What did you guys pay for your helmets?? (aimed at those not using motorbike helmets). I am thinking about picking up a helmet shortly to use instead of the motorbike one. It looks like about $500 will get something that'll do the job??

mine was 320ish iirc...with another 300 of airbrushing (used to race go-karts)

Someone told me that a helmet to use on the racetrack not only has to be AS1698 aprooved but also SNELL approved. is this true?

I've got a spare AS1698 approved open face dirt bike helmet here if someone would like to use that on the day...

Maybe I'll take it with me just in case I can ride shotgun with someone on the track at some point

not sure...i believe they were/are looking into it. But i have yet to have my helmet looked at at wakefield
